ORDERING OPTIONS 

Online: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Check, Venmo and Paypal payments are accepted. Check payments may delay shipping by two weeks and any returned check is subject to a $30 fee. Check payments will delay production of your order until check clears.

TAXABLE SALES

All items shipped to a Kansas address are required to pay the current sales tax rate. 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

ALL CUSTOM PIECES AND GIFT CARDS ARE FINAL SALE!

Each piece is handcrafted when ordered and built to last, I am not able to accept returns but if you do need to cancel an order, please do so withing 24 hours. I do offer an exchange for an item (excluding custom orders or ring sizes) within 14 days of receipt. For this, you must fill out an online return request.

Please understand that this excludes any custom orders or ring size issues. Ring sizers can be purchased here. 

Shipping charges that have already been incurred cannot be refunded and customer is responsible for shipping charges to return merchandise and all other postal fees to insure that the package arrives safely back to me. Charges will be applied for shipping new products. If you are local, I can make arrangements for drop-off.

In the unfortunate event that an item is damaged during shipping, please send a picture to tommi@tommicrystaldesigns.com within 5 days of receipt. Postal carriers have changed their insurance claim policies and this forces me to respectfully ask that you retain all packaging materials and damaged product and be prepared to take it to take it to the postal carrier before a refund or new product can be issued. 

JEWELRY CARE

Metals...

I create my pieces with fine metals and in that, each have their own personality and properties that can change the look of them over time. Shiny sterling silver can tarnish with air contact or sitting unworn for long periods of time. Contact with chemicals, soaps and even a certain body chemistry can tarnish high quality metals. This can easily be poslished up with a polishing cloth or a little scrub with some soap and water. Oxidized sterling silver can shine up and lose it's oxidation with wear but can easily be oxidized again. Contact me at tommi@tommicrystaldesigns.com if you need me to re-oxidize. Copper has a beautiful mind of it's own and will patina over time which can be an amazing transformation but if you like it better the way it started, you can polish it back up with a metal polish and polishing cloth.

I offer cleaning and maintenance services at my events but if you are bringing something, send me an email at tommi@tommicrystaldesigns.com so I know you're coming. I can sometimes bring equipment that I wouldn't normally bring so you can have your pieces back right away!

Enamels...

Enameling is a glass coating that is heated in a kiln to fuse and create a very durable surface. However, it is glass and must also be handled with care. I recommend it not to be worn to the gym or for sports activities. Your piece cannot be folded or bent. To clean your enameled piece, you can simply wipe down with a damp cloth or polishing cloth. You can also periodically clean your enameled piece with a little soap and water but avoid anything with a citrus base or harsh chemicals.  

Mood Rings...

My thermochromatic glass stones are hand crafted and most commonly set in sterling silver. Although very durable, you should not submerge your mood ring in water. Sumbmerging in water or chemicals can cause the color changing properties to diminish over time. Due to the high quantity of silver in your sterling silver piece, it will tarnish when exposed to oxygen for long periods of time. The more you wear your sterling piece, the faster the oils in your skin will create a shine of it’s own leaving the grooves untouched and shaded. When not wearing, store your piece completely dried in an air tight bag. If you would like to restore your piece to the all over darker patina, please give me a call. Enjoy your fun twist on the mood ring inspired by that of the ‘60’s and ‘70’s.

Since each piece is handmade, they come with their own imperfections which is what makes them amazingly perfect!

CUSTOM CHARM CASTING

Send me your creation and I'll transform it into a recycled sterling silver, bronze or gold charm. I cast using the ancient technique of Lost Wax Casting and have expanded it to materials other than wax; such as resin, plastic and some organic creations. Before you send your piece, email me a picture of your piece, description of the material, weight of your piece in grams, and metal you would like to use to tommicrystal@gmail.com. I will send you a price estimate.

I DO NOT make a mold of your piece so please be aware that your original piece will be transformed into something truly one-of-a-kind and the original will NOT be returned. The casting process can take 6-8 weeks. Please be aware that the casting process is truly a hand crafted art and there is a small chance that the casting can fail and I would be unable to provide you with a finished piece. Please be aware that if it has gotten to this point in the casting process, your original will have been destroyed and cannot be returned.  You will receive a full refund if I am not able to provide you with a finished casting.

PERMANENT JEWELRY

I know metals and the care it takes to keep them beautiful for as long you desire to wear your permanent jewelry. For this, I use the highest quality metals from reputable sources. I don't use plated metals as they wear off way to quickly. I will only carry sterling silver, 14K Gold Filled and 14K Gold (rose, yellow and white). They are beautiful and long lasting and are the least likely to cause a chemical reaction with your body, however, if you have had a reaction in the past to these metals, you will have a similar reaction. Although these metals are high quality, they can become damaged when they come in contact with certain chemicals. Even the salt water in the ocean may reduce their beauty. These type of reactions are not covered under my warranty. However, if you have problems with your chain, please reach out to me, there may be something we can do to restore the beauty.
